As Mike was quoted in the
paper - 20 years as a coach has prepared Mike for this opportunity. Before he accepted the job
he asked for a few days to try and line up some quality assistant coaches
to help. He has always
said "I think I have a good rapport with parents and I know you can't
please everyone and there's always going to be someone unhappy about
playing time. But
that's why I want to surround myself with quality assistant coaches who
can help out. This is
not my show. I will
rely on them to help me out a lot."
He is looking forward to his
third year at the helm.
